Robert, Samira and David have gathered at the request of the daughter of their recently deceased friend, successful horror writer Paul Morris. A simple email from Eve states that she has something for the three friends; she offers to fly into town to deliver the mysterious package, writing that she also wishes to learn about her estranged father from those who knew him best. After pressing the friends to explain her fathers unique writing technique, Eve asks to tell a ghost story shes been crafting. Following some initial hesitation, they relent and Eve begins to recount her story. Hers is a tale based on a story she heard as a child – a tale which suddenly makes everyone markedly uneasy.
The phone rings.
Phone in hand, Robert turns to Eve… who, with a grin, is about to get to the best part of her story.
