TICKETS
—Buying: Tickets may be purchased online or by calling the box office, or by coming to the box office in person during our hours of operation. You may also purchase tickets at the theatre before the show.
—Where does your ticket purchase go? The money you spend on your tickets at The Gladstone goes directly to the artists producing the show. The presenting company uses this money to cover expenses such as actor and crew fees; rent for rehearsal space and to use The Gladstone; sets, costumes, and props; publicity; and administrative costs like insurance, website hosting, banking fees, and storage. Many different indie theatre companies produce at The Gladstone every year.
—Payment: Credit, debit, cash.
—Box Office Collect: Tickets purchased online will be emailed to you, OR can be picked up at the box office when you come to the show. Simply choose Box Office Collect before you make your payment if you’d like to pick your tickets up at the door.
—Door Sales: You may purchase tickets at the door. Please arrive early if you plan on buying tickets at the door. Last minute sales take a few minutes and we are committed to starting our shows on time.
—Rush Seating: Nope.
—PWYC: Sometimes. Check show pricing.
—Ticket Prices: Most resident company productions offer a $26 ticket for Preview performances. Full-time students and unwaged persons may also purchase a $26 ticket for most performances.
Special one-off concerts and rentals that fall outside the realm of our resident companies will charge different prices for their tickets. All tickets will include a Facility Fee.
—Facility Fee:
Q: Why do you add a facility fee to every ticket?
A: The Gladstone is a rental venue, so the base ticket price goes entirely to the production company presenting the show. The facility fee is The Gladstone’s cut that helps make the production possible.
Q: Can I avoid the fee if I walk to the theatre and buy my tickets in person?
A: No. there is no way to avoid this fee. But walking to the theatre is always a healthy option.
