Christopher (Steve Martin) has a hot date with Felix (Rebekah Shirey), a beautiful woman he’s been out with 3 times before. Dinner and dancing at The Waldorf and who knows what might happen afterward. What could go wrong? Well, for one, his mother (Barbara Seabright-Moore) shows up at his apartment unannounced. Secondly, he hasn’t told his mother about this new woman in his life and she’s on her way over. Christopher tries to get rid of his mother to avoid this unplanned meeting that he knows won’t go over well. His attempts fail with hilarious results.
Review: Ottawa Tonite calls the show “…a quick-witted, entertaining and energetic piece of theatre.”
